If nothing else, this site is for my own benefit. I don’t have the ability to remember every single detail of my experiences so this is more or less a journal for myself. It’s so great to be able to give everyday life the finger, unwind, and relive my trips when I need to. I wish that I had the skills to write down all of my experiences in a way that was captivating and interesting to a reader but I’m quite sure that I can’t do that. What I can do is offer the reader pictures and videos.

I have found that seeing pictures from the experiences of others inspires me to travel or create. I love looking at pictures but taking my own to share is even better.

None of that ^ stuff is important.

I was fortunate enough to meet some very inspiring people recently and they reminded me why we do these things…..to share in the human experience. Traveling is about the experiences you get to have and the best way to experience something truly memorable is to share a real, genuine moment with another person. Don’t be afraid to meet a stranger, listen to their story, and enjoy their company, and I promise you will be talking about it for years to come. Don’t forget to allow for some spontaneity in your trip…..you will find that those random things you didn’t plan for are often the most memorable. So please take a look around and enjoy what I have to share and remember that experience does not require expensive equipment…..you can travel on cheap bikes to cheap destinations and have as much fun as anyone else. You can build inexpensive projects and still have fond memories. Do not compare your experiences to anyone else’s……enjoy where you are and what you create.
